The Ultimate Road Trip

First, if you haven't listened to the Mamma Mia soundtrack, you should. It's fun music. Now, on to what I was really thinking about this morning. So, I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with my life. But I felt really good about quitting my job and I've felt all along that things will work out as they should. So, I'm thinking that in the interim between this blissful state of unemployment and jumping back into the rat race, I need to see this great country. So I think I'm going to do a road trip around the US. There are so many places I haven't been. There are so many things I haven't seen. I figured that if it came to the end of the summer and I hadn't found a job, I would go backpack around Europe. And maybe I still will. But I think it would be terrible if I had the chance to explore my native land and didn't take advantage of it. So if anyone has suggestions of what I should see, where I should go, and what I should do, let me know! If anyone wants to come along, let me know! :-)

You should DEFINITELY make Key West one of your stops. Sad I won't be able to come.

Or you could theme your road trip, like a "National Parks" road trip in which you travel to national parks. Or you could take my friend melanies Weird American Road Trip which looks like fun:

Though you may have done it, drive across SD from East to West, read the signs for Wall Drug and then shop there. Sure, there are other things to like about SD but that is by far the most entertaining. Iowa WISHES they had that.

As a girl from Texas, I must say you need to swing by San Antonio, Austin, and Houston Texas. I think you would like the great lone star state. I hope your trip turns out to be tons of fun, and full of adventure!!!!
